Yes, that’s right. Here are some more Colorado photos. Enjoy. Or at least look.
This is a picture from the Alpha Chi Omega House balcony. Not much to see, but it’s a quiet, quaint little street from this angle. This is what you’d get if you were to go out the front door of the house.
If you turn around, however, you’ll see that a whole restaurant district is located right behind the house. You can’t really tell that from this picture, but you do see the first such restaurant as located directly behind the house. The restaurant is that white brick building. Those white windows nestled within the verdant veneer of the sorority house are bedrooms. Mine is the closed window right in the center. It just looks a white line from this angle.
To take you inside the house, here is the living room. Or at least about half of it. Not much to be said about it, I guess. But yes, I’ve sat in it.
Here’s the industrial-sized kitchen. No, I haven’t learned how to use any of those things. God bless microwaveable meals and cold cereal.
A partial shot of the dining room. There’s at least twice as many tables as this, actually. Neat, huh?
Moving away from the sorority house, this is the actual classroom for the seminar.
This is just outside the building that houses the above classroom. The building just behind the fountain is the University Memorial Center. It houses the bookstore and a Domino’s Pizza stand. That’s all I can tell you about it.
This is actually from the Marriott Courtyard where Melanie, my sisters, and I stayed for a couple of nights prior to the seminar. It was (and still is, I imagine) located in Louisville, Colorado, which is only about 7 miles from Boulder. This flower was located in the courtyard of the Courtyard. It’s my first official “artistic” picture as taken with the new camera.
I continued my feigned artistic sensibilities by snapping this image. I call it “College Essentials.” For practical purposes, that is the desk in my bedroom at the sorority house.
And finally, here is one I simply call, “Sorority Surprise.” After several times of using the drawers in my bedroom, these babies suddenly made a surprise appearance. Somehow or another, they had been stuck between the first and second drawer and eventually worked their way out. I thought this most delightful surprise warranted a photograph of its own. As of yet, I still haven’t worn these.
Well, that about wraps it up. This is the bulk of photos that seem worth sharing. Maybe I’ll drop another one here and there, but this is basically it for Colorado. Of course, I hope to share many photos from other occasions as they arise. Until then, I hope you’ve enjoyed a more visual approach to things lately. Hopefully I’ll write a post with some substance very soon.
Who knew you were so artistic! And I think you'd look lovely in pink panties! They look like your size even... what do they call that? Serendipity!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations my friend! Maybe you could model them and take a picture for us all. I know we'd love to see!
Great unintentional wordplay on the word "drawers". And very nice camera-blog work.
