Utah 2012 Photos, Part 2

Here are some more photos from our summer 2012 Utah trip. These photos were taken between July 21st and July 28th. For more information on these dates, see my Week 2 and Week 3 posts.

Creegan, Eddie, and Peter, with cousins Caius and Rayne, await a table at La Frontera. That is one happy bunch!

Now, this is what Mexican food is supposed to look like! I miss those chile verde enchiladas. They were my friends.

Melanie showing off the beautiful orange glow of her cheddar cheese enchilada. Rumor has it cheddar cheese isn’t the most authentic ingredient in Mexican food, but Utahans do it that way and I miss it dearly. The white cheese (Oaxaca?) they use in Atlanta and Tallahassee is supposedly more authentic, and yet ironically tastes like American cheese to me.

A fleeting happy moment at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Trolley Square, downtown Salt Lake City. It all went downhill from here.

Edison was actually pretty happy. Mac n’ cheese to the rescue.

This photo was taken on the bridge walkway between Trolley Square and one of its parking lots.

Creegan loved the bridge. Whenever a car would pass on the street below us, he would point and squeal as enthusiastically as I would if I’d just won the lottery.

Trolley Square is so picturesque that I took quite a few photos. Here, the family heads toward the landmark water tower. Eddie has lifted the back of his t-shirt over his shoulders, which is extremely common for him to do nowadays.

The water tower stairs are blocked at a certain point. My family went up as high as they could.

Another view of the spiral stairs leading up to the tower. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

I got an Angry Birds t-shirt while in Utah. Eddie and Peter both already owned one. They were quite excited for me to get one.

E & P having a great time on the trampoline. Peter is rocking out to some imaginary music.

Out for frozen yogurt.

At Greek Souvlaki. Either Peter or Creegan is holding the car that would ultimately be thrown in the trash and retrieved by a very friendly restaurant employee.

Awwwwww!

To be continued!
